A Nation on Trial: Distrust in Healthcare Echoes in Mangione's Legal Storm

A young child’s feet dangling, kicking back and forth between the space under his chair. Blood trickling down from his forehead but it’s not his. He is crying, the nurse comes to comfort the child, she asks what is wrong, he looks up at her with troubling eyes yet a somber look, “How are we going to pay for this?”

He was just in a car accident with his parents, they all survived just to live through the crippling debt and limitations of their healthcare. This is what I imagined as I stood next to an anonymous health care worker when she shared her reasoning for tolerating the cold and awaiting Luigi Mangione’s arrival. As we waited for his plane to land from Pennsylvania to the federal courts of New York City, Manhattan, we discussed multiple ways this country as screwed people over when it comes to healthcare.

I intentionally flew to New York not only to experience the Christmas lights in a city full of it but to support my belief that Mr. Magione is being framed. Despite the thirst traps, comical memes, think pieces on Tik Tok about how he sacrifice his life for us (blech) I believe the bigger message is the direct line of communication from the “higher ups” to us “little people”

They are making an example out of Mangione to send a message to the collective on who they are willing to protect. Ironically no mainstream news is reporting on United Health Care’s legal troubles as this fiasco is all going on. I mean isn’t it relevant? Could it be that if majority of people or even the potential jurors knew that United Health Care was being probed by the government, sued for faulty AI denial claims, and exposing patient information through an alleged hack, they could make the clear conclusion it is possible this is an inside job.

So far, the courts have yet to show us the public what “ironclad” evidence they have against Mangione, Do we have that right to see the evidence instead of allowing a bunch of “professionals” tell us what is what. Call me skeptic but I do live in a country that is capable of breaking the law in the name of justice….

I mean the irony of seeing Mayor Eric Adams stutter through his press conference with ignorant confidence as to why they decided on a dramatic purp walk with Mr. Mangione, when, sir we are still reeling from your alleged receiving of illegal campaign contributions, sit this one out, my dude.

The simple fact that New York is known for being the state with the most cases involving corrupted officials is something to take in consideration when we are being fed “facts”

There are many key players involved in this case of Magione that have conflict of interests like Jessica Tisch, the NYC Commissioner who comes from a family of billionaires which easily places her out of touch with the American people, and makes her biased to support and protect people of that caliber.

anonymous protestor expressing reform in healthcare system in America right in front of Manhattan Federal court.

Yesterday, downtown Manhattan I waited five hours to witness them strategically hide Mangione away from his four supporters. Now as disappointing as that number sounds, yesterday proved it is quality over quantity.  I had the opportunity to interview a protestor who was there to support the narrative that there needs to be reform in the healthcare system.

We the people are thoroughly confused as to why no mainstream media is touching on the reason behind assassination, allegedly done by accused Mangione.

If we talk about the reasoning behind, deny, defend and depose then it would reveal the hypocrisy of them condemning the collective for “celebrating” murder, when this was initiated to bring radical awareness to the fact millions die from the lack of funds, coverage and support from the health care system in his bolstering country of opportunities and vast growth…

This is just the beginning when it comes to this revolution, I stand firm when I say that I am not convinced Luigi Mangione is the “adjuster” however I do believe the arrest of Luigi Mangione and how New York is going about it did create significant movement.

We are not a divided nation among the working class men, women and nonbinary individuals, it is very clear for now on until it is changed, this is a class war. It is the elites versus us and they have a lot more than just Mangione to worry about.

This by all means is not a violent threat but is a direct statement that this country open a box they can’t close until we fucking say so.

Excellent commentary! I’ve stopped watching the news because it’s all about money rather than the truth!

I am currently fighting with New York Life for long term disability. An insurance I have paid for , for many years never thinking I would need it but life happened and here we are. It’s unbelievable the doctors they have. My doctors have met every milestone and if I don’t check their doctors and specialists will LIE and say my doctors aren’t participating and my doctors are the ONLY ones participating trying to help me and resolve this issue

Thanks for putting this together, I hope more of us will understand that just typing comments in the internet doesn’t effect change as much as showing up and protesting.

I absolutely agree. I stumbled across a physician that on tt is fighting with insurance companies, they way they contract businesses, express scripts that sends scripts to another party to be denied. I’m sicken he is the scapegoat, third has the right people talking now, and asking questions. Thank yiu!
